Why do I love Oregon?

Today is Oregon's 163rd birthday — our statehood day. I'm telling you this because I absolutely love Oregon!

And I don't just mean the beautiful landscape, the rivers, forests, mountains, and beaches.

I love the people of Oregon. Smart, engaged, progressive, and future-oriented. Here in Oregon, we're always looking ahead and trying to make things better.

I love fighting for the people of Oregon because I know that real change is possible if we work for it. Donate today and join our grassroots movement for progressive change.

I've spent my adult life working to create better lives for all Oregonians.

I've helped pass the most progressive reproductive freedom legislation in the country, worked to raise the minimum wage, held big pharma accountable – helping to lower prescription drug prices. I helped expand family leave for all Oregonians, addressed harassment in the workplace, and led in the fight to decarbonize Oregon.

Why? Because I love Oregonians.

Now I'm running for Congress — why? That's right: because I love Oregonians. And because every Oregonian deserves leaders who will work day in and day out for them.
